Aki Berry and Med Chano have been friends for over 20 years, when Meg first came to America from Japan and Aki’s family hosted foreign exchange students.  Food has been a huge constant in their friendship. The food they love and create is a bridge which connects their cultures and identities. They believe food has the power to create relationships, explore identities, and placate hangry emotions. They started a blog, Salt Harvest Creatives, to explore culinary curiosities and find ways to make the community of food more playful. There, they shared their interpretation of Ted Lasso’s biscuit recipe, as well as the design and printing instructions for his iconic pink biscuit boxes. This is their first cookbook.
