Join bestselling author and food-world darling Jake Cohen as he shares recipes and stories from his latest cookbook I Could Nosh: Classic Jew-ish Recipes Revamped for Every Day, the follow-up to his beloved bestseller, Jew-ish: Reinvented Recipes from a Modern Mensch.

With a whole lot of creativity and a healthy dash of chutzpah, this collection is a must-have for food lovers everywhere, whether you’re Jewish, Jew-ish, or not Jewish at all. Learn about Jake’s journey toward a deeper understanding of his Jewish identity through food and the inspiration behind his reinvented classics — from schmears, both sweet and savory, to chicken soup sans soup, challah of exotic variations, kugel fries, Persian rice treats, a tzimmes cake and much, much more. Jake appears in conversation with Maggid Jhos Singer, JCCSF’s Jewish Educator and resident mixologist.

A social media star with millions of Tiktok and Instagram followers glued to his challah-braiding and garlic matzo antics, Jake Cohen has worked as a food writer and in some of New York’s finest restaurants and in test kitchens. His recipes have been featured on Rachael Ray, The Drew Barrymore Show, Live with Kelly and Ryan, Good Morning America, and the Food Network and in the New York Times, Food & Wine, The Wall Street Journal, Bon Appetit, and Forbes (making the 30 Under 30 list in 2022 for Food & Drink), among others. He lives in NYC with his husband Alex.

Ticket price includes copy of I Could Nosh.

All seating is first come, first served.
