Inscribed & signed by printer Wesley B. Tanner on verso. When Michael Wild and Larry Goldman opened Bay Wolf in Oakland in 1975, they were favorably and immediately compared to Chez Panisse in neighboring Berkeley. Known from the start for its locally sourced, seasonal menu, Wild was cooking on the line up until he retired (and closed the restaurant) in 2015. This menu featured salade nouvelle, sole au Champagne, and boeuf au poivre, finished off with a buche de Noel. Near fine. A lovely menu.
