La Capilla del Mar was a renowned hotel and restaurant in Cartagena, whose owner, Madame Daguet, was famous throughout the country for its exquisite menu created from traditional techniques of French cuisine. In spite of being a kitchen characterized by its indisputable European style, it did not leave out the varied local products of the region, and her cookbook is filled with Colombian cuisine using local products like sardines, turkey, coffee, tropical fruits, etc. General shelf wear, else very good.
