(WWII) Classeur protège-tickets d'alimentation.

Meal ticket holder for post-WWII ration tickets. Six pockets, titled (Pain, Viande & Charcuterie, Pommes de Terres, etc.). Gilt-lettered blue cloth. Bordeaux: 1947.

Issued to J. Jacquetin and his family in Bordeaux, with hundreds of unused tickets, as well as receipts for using them for butter, meat, etc., loose in pockets. A scarce window into a difficult time in post-war France. Very good.
