(Fruit) Fish, D.T. The Pear: Its History, Varieties, and Cultivation.
$85
/
[71]-170 pp. Illus. with wood engravings of pear varieties. Ads in rear. Pictorial wrappers. First Edition. London: The Bazaar, [1878].
Fish wrote books on fruit & fruit tree management in Victorian England, including one on apples and another on peaches and nectarines. The pagination begins for some (or no) reason at page 71, but is complete, and bound as a separate volume with its own wrappers. Chipping to spine wrappers, lacking rear wrapper, else good.
