First published in 1939, this is the revised edition, with additional recipes. A compilation of recipes from Hawaiians and ex-pats, including instructions for making date loaf, banana bread, pineapple canape, tamarind juice, chicken and luau, "sub-gum" spare ribs, etc. Many of the contributors' names are well know in Hawaii as some of the earliest mainland settlers, such as Asa Baldwin. Rubbing to lower extremities, else very good.
