Originally a motor car log-book given out by Wm. B. Joyce & Co. of Minneapolis, Mrs. M.A. Campbell used it for handwritten and pasted in recipes. the first 13 pages of recipes are marked with an X.Recipes that didn't get crossed out include mustard pickles, sweet dill pickles, Myrtle's chilli, and Esther's cheese souffle. Recipes with colored illustrations featuring Crisco and geared toward economical cooking are pasted in alongside many others. Soiled covers, pages unattached to binding and stained.
