SIGNED by Richard Olney, Paul Bocuse, and winemaker Lalou Bize-Leroy. The lines on the left of the menu (“aux amitié [sic] et ‘joys of wine’ / Michel Lemonnier”) were written by a French food and wine journalist and friend of Olney’s. A wine dinner with Richard Olney at Restaurant Bocuse, featuring wines from Domaine Leroy, Romanee Conti, and Laurent Perrier. This menu was from part of a 1976 tour of Alsace, Bordeaux, Burgundy, and Champagne called “The Joys of Wine,” sponsored by Sherry-Lehmann, the New York wine merchants, and organized and led by Richard Olney. Tiny pinhole to upper corner, else fine.
