A sumptuous book of cakes, with short descriptions with each illustrated plate, and longer recipes in rear. Printed in Germany, where Bauer lived; he was a well-regarded manufacturer of baking apparatus (particularly cake art, including marzipan moulds, decoration tubes, springerle boards, etc.). Minor rubbing to spine ends and corners; a bit of paper loss to title page, else very good and bright.
