(*NEW ARRIVAL*) (Canadian) Blue Ribbon Cook Book for Everyday Use in Canadian Homes.

Illus. with drawings. 6.25x5", dec. cream cloth. Twentieth Edition. Winnipeg: Blue Ribbon Mfg., 1905.

Blue Ribbon was the "Joy of Cooking" of Canada, reprinted hundreds of times throughout the 20th century. The fact that it was written with Canadians in mind was rare for the time, and recipes aimed at residents included hot cross buns, sweet French rolls, baked rabbit, roast goose (presumably Canadian) with potato stuffing, buffalo, oysters on the half shell, maple sugar candy, etc. Rubbing and flaing to cloth, else good.
