Married to Samuel Chamberlain, and with whom she wrote several books on the food of France and Italy, Ms. Chamberlain said of this little gem: “Because a lot of people don't seem to know how to beat an egg, I decided to write a book on omelets." The illustrator, Hilary Knight, became famous for her drawings in the Eloise books. Closed tears along jacket spine and lower front panel, a bit of browning to jacket extremities, still very good.
