A compact version of Marshall's earlier book, Fancy Ices, this edition contains wonderful chromolithograph plates of elaborate ice cream desserts, as well as wood engravings of equipment. Several pages in rear offer illustrated advertisements for ice moulds and other contraptions for sale by Marshall. A couple splotches to front cover, ; front free endpaper crumbling, else very good.
