This club seems to have been made up of mainly American women living in Ankara, so the recipes are a mix of international dishes,from barbecue beef and Jewish sweet and sour pot roast, to Chinese bean salad and pickled carrot strips. However, there are helpful lists at front of English-Turkish household equivalents, translations of familiar food words into Turkish, measurements, etc. There are also plenty of Turkish dishes sprinkled throughout: eggplant relish, cucumber dip, Haluk Kilmci's barbecue sauce, mousaka, Turkish pilav, etc. Fine.
