This was a booklet put out by Esso, with colorful ads for their products for cars and cleaners throughout. This particular booklet is from C.R. Boston's Esso Service in Charleston, SC. Recipes include Old Virginia spoon bread, hoe cake, rice muffins, sweet potato custard, peach dumplings, and other Southern-forward dishes. Pages 3-4 lacking, stains to covers and flecked throughout, else good. Scarce.
