One of a beautiful series of little books by Paul Pierce about how to throw food-centric events (parties, dinners, luncheons, etc.). This one contains suggested menus and advice on festive gatherings. Sections herein include chafing dish suppers, German, Dutch and Bohemian suppers, suppers for special occasions, a Boston supper party, and "Entertaining in the Modern Apartment"(!). Spine darkened, chipped at ends, and likely re-glued, rubbing to extremities, fading to (originally green) cloth, else good.
