Pontus Johan Fredrik Frithiof, formerly Fritiof , is a Swedish chef, restaurateur and entrepreneur.  He became famous in 1999 for Pontus in the Green House, which was named Sweden's best restaurant.  Over the years he has received awards as this year's pubs, this year's business pub and was awarded the Gastronomic Academy Gold Medal.  Frithiof operates several restaurants in the Stockholm area under the Pontus Group.
