A rare community cookbook that benefitted the West Point Methodist Church, with recipes for favorite local dishes, including Old Virginia loaf bread, Franklin County VA sausage, pickled pork, pepper vinegar, quail pie, crab rolls, Southern fried apples, etc. 

Faint dampstaining to marginal right side to book as well as to spine head area, else very good - pages fragile but complete (issued without title page). Very scarce; not in Brown or any other reference I could fine. One ad dated 1898.
