Itinéraires de goûts (Michel Sarran)
NOTE: This book is in French.
The first personal book of the Toulouse chef with two Michelin stars, created by geographer Géraldine Pellé with photographer Anne-Emmanuelle Thion.
The common thread of this book is travel: journey in the process of culinary creation, journey into space to the origin of flavors, journey into the emotions aroused by tasting...this journey takes you to meet the complex, generous and elegant cuisine of a man curious about the world and others.
By offering a taste discovery itinerary around the description of 16 recipes, geographer Géraldine Pellé and chef Michel Sarran invite the reader to trace his own taste path.
Just as they inspired Anne-Emmanuelle Thion's photos, the flavors, textures and emotions concentrated in the description of the "path" of each recipe are in a way the madeleine that will motivate everyone's imaginary journey.
