In the life of the French countryside, the pig slaughter has always been an important moment that often took place between November 15 and December 15. The Fête au cochon or Saint-Cochon then gathered around the same table family, neighbors and friends for beautiful agapes!

Today, this festival returns to many villages: this "sepia-colored" notebook illustrated with many photos makes us share this tradition alongside a family of farmers from a small village in Gironde.
