(1899-1968) was a Mexican cooking instructor and celebrity chef. She was a pioneer of Mexican gastronomy and an entrepreneur as the owner of Mexico's most famous eponymous cooking school. Between the 1930's and 1960's she published over 140 cookbooks, ran a cooking academy, and hosted TV and radio shows. She is the woman responsible for giving a national face to regional Mexican cuisine.
Pieces of wrappers lacking from spine as well as lower front wrapper and corners of rear wrapper, otherwise very good and bright.
