It contains over 250 recipes, as well as vignettes about her life and memories of growing up there. Kumquat marmalade mango ice cream, St. Augustine deep-fried shrimp, Florida lobster or crawfish, Orange Lake frog-legs, Mrs. Hansen's tortillas, alligator tail-steak, etc.
