The Twentieth Century Club of Berkeley was founded on December 13, 1904 by Mrs. H. N. Baldwin, with the "advancement in all lines of general culture and the creation of a greater interest in whatever is for the good of the community" as their goal. The proceeds of this 1912 cookbook went to building their clubhouse, at 2716 Derby Street, which was erected the following year. The club remained incorporated until 1989. Rubbing to spine ends and corners; inner joints starting, else very good, with some wonderful pictorial ads for Berkeley businesses. Glozer 325; Glozer p.34.
