(Food Literature) Smith, Herman. Kitchens Near and Far.
$50.00
/
Illus. by Eleanora Sense, and with frontis. port. of the author. Jacket. First Edition. NY: M. Barrows, 1944.
Smith was best known for his previous food memoir, Stina, the Story of a Cook, about the lively and spirited cook Smith grew up with. This follow-up can be considered Volume II of his memoir, with recipes from his own kitchen, as well as more of Stina, beloved remembrances, and good food galore. Chipping to jacket spine head, with some small pieces lacking from upper extremities of front & rear panels, rubbing to lower jacket extremities, else very good and bright.
