(*NEW ARRIVAL*) (Organic Farming) The Friendly Fungi: A New Approach to the Eelworm Problem (C.L. Duddington)
$40.00
/
Illus. with photographs. Jacket. First Edition. London: Faber & Faber, [1957].
Published as part of a series on organic farming, which became popular in England after the war. One of the most serious agricultural problems of the time was the damage done to crops by eelworms. The organic farming movement discovered a fungi that would attack and kill them, so pesticides were unnecessary.
Near fine.
