A wonderful real-photo postcard (a photograph that has been made into a postcard) of the interior of a bar, with two bartenders behind a long wooden bar, and two customers, all looking at the camera (one customer toasting the photographer). On verso is written in a neat hand, "Dear Mother, This is the inside the place I work. The white coat is my picture and my Boss beside me. Your Son, Chas Adams." 

The postcard is postmarked Santa Cruz, Cal., Aug. 8, 1908, and the addressee is Mrs. J.J. Adams, Yorkville, Mendocino Co., Cal. A scarce piece of cocktail and bar ephemera, with the rare treat of having the name of the bartender and the place and date of the bar laid out for us. Near fine.
