This is the follow-up (second) edition to the 1938 version, with more illustrations of grills and grilling, and fewer of how to build outdoor ovens and fires. Included are spit-roasting and temperature charts. Recipes include Korean beef barbecue (early for a Korean recipe in an American cookbook), charcoal-roasted liver, a chapter of skewer recipes, various fish-grilling methods, and much more. Very good and bright.
