(Celebrity) Zasu Pitts. Candy Hits by Zasu Pitts: The Famouse Star's Own Candy Recipes.
$75
/
Compiled by Edi Horton. Illus. with numerous photographs. Jacket. First Edition. NY: Duell, Sloan & Pearce, [1963].
Zasu Pitts first appeared as a child actress in The Little Princess opposite Mary Pickford. She went on to be a well-loved movie actress, but her candy-making wasn't known until after her death in 1963. Herein are her recipes for peanut brittle, chocolate fudge, panocha, marshmallows, pralines, opera fudge, marzipan, and more. Mild rubbing to jacket, else very good.
