36, [4] pp. Illus. with ads in rear. 6.5x6.5", dec. brownish wrappers. Revised and Enlarged Edition. Melbourne, Australia: Swinburne Technical College, [c.1927].
Lucy Drake was a popular Australian cooking authority in the first part of the 20th century. After her sudden death in 1923, her niece Dorothy Miles took over her post at Swinburne Technical College, and revised several of her cookbooks. There are recipes herein for feeding the infirm and the young, with notes on food values and nutrition. Very good; scarce.
