(Chinese-American) Victor Sen Yung's Great Wok Cookbook.
$60.00
/
Illus. from drawings by Karen McBride. Jacket. Los Angeles: Nash Publishing, [1974].
Yung played Hop Sing, the Chinese cook in the Bonanza television series. Typical Chinese-American recipes of the era: eggs rolls, won ton soup, abalone and chicken soup, noodles, etc. There are more in-depth sections on Chinese ingredients, kitchen equipment, and techniques. Short tears to jacket extremities, otherwise very good and bright.
