(*NEW ARRIVAL*) (Hotels) Ted James & Rosalind Cole. The Waldorf-Astoria Cookbook.
$60.00
/
Illus. from photographs. Jacket. First Edition. NY: Bramhall House, [1969].
The Waldorf Astoria opened in New York City in 1893, and became famous for its dining rooms (Peacock Alley, the Bull and the Bear, the Empire Room, and Oscar's) as well as its cocktails and of course the Waldorf salad. This is a history of the place, along with recipes. Old inscription to front free endpaper, else very good and bright.
