A facsimile edition of a wartime cookbook produced by a Texas sugar company called Imperial Sugar. A 4-page intro on "The Way it Was in 1915" lays out the history of early rationing efforts. Recipes include eggplant fritters, country cupboard salad, calico lima beans, etc. Freezing, canning and leftovers are also included.
