A book of recipes from the island of Jamaica and beyond, including instructions for making hard and soft cocktails like Jamaica ginger beer, pimento liqueur, soursop fool, etc. Dishes consist of numerous Jamaican specialties like rum omelette, yellow yam pudding, tie-a-leaf corn cakes, baked fish stuffed with rice and green pepper, salt fish & ackee, coco soup, pepperpot soup, baked chocho with carrots, etc. There is also a chapter on pickles and preserves using local produce. Faint stains to wrappers, else about very good and bright, with ads in rear for local businesses.
