Moore-McCormack Lines. On Board the S.S. Uruguay en el Puerto de Montevideo Dinner Menu
$60.00
/
2 pp. 11.75x9". Lithograph image of an Argentine gaucho drinking yerba mate from an elaborate porcelain cup. Montevideo: March 10, 1952.
A gorgeous lithograph menu by C.A. Rosser from a South American cruise. This menu (in Spanish, English & Portuguese) was from a dinner in the Chilean port of Montevideo, and featured prime rib of Argentine beef, filet of Santos Dourado, Rio papaya, jumbo squab with guava jelly, Rio mangoes and figs, Brazilian coffee, yerba mate Cravo Queimado e La Victoria), dulce de leche, etc. Faint spots to upper spine area, else very good.
