By 1882, New Hampshire was celebrating its 27th annual state fair, and the Y.M.C.A. of Manchester published a special community cookbook for the occasion. Each recipe includes the contributor's name, including chicken pudding, potted mackerel, clam soup, blueberry cake, White Mountain rolls, etc. Despite lacking original wrappers, this is still in good condition, and contains a few notes in margins about recipes in a 19th c. hand. Scarce.
