Illus. with drawings. Tall and thin: 10.5x4.25", spiral-bound stiff pictorial wrappers. First Edition. NY: Workman, [1973].
Crescent Dragonwagon dubbed herself a "hipbilly," a loose part of the back-to-the-land movement of the early 1970's. She fell in love with the Ozarks of Arkansas, and has lived there most of her adult life, cooking, presrving, and writing cookbooks. From 1972 to 2000, she resided in the small, hip boho resort town of Eureka Springs, built in the Victorian era.
Very good condition; an early book by the author of Bean by Bean.
