Comb-bound stiff red wrappers. First Edition. San Francisco: Koret Foundation, 1984.

The Gray Panthers was an intergenerational organization in San Francisco whose motto was: "Age and Youth in Action." They existed to challenge ageism, a new concept at the time. They were "for freedom of choice in alternative lifestyles." Naturally, this translated into a cookbook replete with recipe for the likes of creamy tofu vegetable soup, whole wheat mac & cheese, tabbouleh salad, etc.

Owner's name (dated 1992) to front free endpaper, else very good and bright.
