An uncommon cookbook from Nashville, with recipes (some listing contributors in titles, for fried chicken, asparagus loaf - Donald Fudge, George Washington cherry cake, panned or deviled oysters, veal loaf with Creole sauce, broiled quail, etc. Just good, with darkening and dustiness to covers; internal faint stains from water, wear to front free endpaper, etc. A few period manuscript recipes laid-in loose.
