Table Talk Publishing. Table Talk's Illustrated Cook Book
$45.00
/
Illus. from photographs. 7.25x6.25", gilt-lettered red cloth. First Edition. Philadelphia: Table Talk Publishing, [1906].
Table Talk Magazine was one of the premiere American culinary magazines at the turn-of-the-century. This is filled with photographs and recipes for dishes of the day, such as deviled crabs, oyster kromeskies, clam fritters, head cheese, squabs on toast, stuffed eggs on caviare toast, etc. Demonstrations for making fancier dishes such as potato nests, lobster, and croquettes. Very good.
