(Victorian) Mrs. W.H. Edwards. Recipes Worth Trying.
$75.00
/
Illus. with ads. Pictorial line-green cloth. First Edition. London: Lee & Nightingale, 1912.
A traditional pre-WWI era English cookbook, with contributions by various authors (recipes each with contributor's name noted). A chapter of curries reflects the interest in food from Colonial India. Other recipes include oyster rarebit, potted char, prune savouries, venison pasty, cherry fritters...you get the picture. Irregular fading to cloth (a binder's glue issue), else very good.
