Typed letter, signed by Eleanor Brown on Bob Brown's stationery (he owned a culinary bookshop in New York City), laid in, which proposes to sell the book wholesale to Mr. Duggan (likely a wine shop owner) to help sell wine as it pairs with food. A lovely book of elegant recipes like matelote of eels, plombiere a la Havane, turtle soup a la Cubana, duck in olives, etc. Staining to fore-edges (not affecting text), else very good. An advance copy without wax covering for wrappers.
