Food for Thought is Michelin-starred chef Alan Murchison's first book. Alan is passionate about using seasonal produce, classic marriages of flavours and innovative presentation. The ethical and nutritional elements of of the dishes he creates are taken into account at every stage.
Over two years of blood, sweat and tears have gone into creating a book that offers an insight into the sometimes complex cuisine of a highly ambitious top-flight kitchen. All of the stunning photographs have been taken by the very patient and talented Mark Low.
Alan and his team run L'Ortolan in Shinfield, Berskhire and La Bécasse in Ludlow, Shropshire.
