(*NEW ARRIVAL*) (Chinese - San Francisco) Kan, Johnny & Charles Leong. Eight Immortal Flavors from San Francisco’s Chinatown. *Signed*
$125.00
/
Illus. with drawings. Jacket. First Edition. Berkeley: Howell-North Books, [1963].
Warmly inscribed & signed by Johnny Kan on the front free endpaper. Invitation to a party celebrating the book's 4th printing laid-in loose. The first Cantonese cookbook in English, Kan drew inspiration for his recipes from San Francisco’s Chinatown. 1" piece of jacket lacking from upper spine area, faint stains and short closed tears to jacket, price clipped, otherwise very good in good jacket. Scarce signed and in first edition.
