(Feminist) Helen Gurley Brown. Helen Gurley Brown's Single Girl's Cookbook.
$150.00
/
406 pp. Illus. with drawings by Frank Daniel. Jacket. First Edition. NY: Bernard Geis Associates, [1969].
A surprisingly large volume by the author of Sex and the Single Girl, this is a feminist cookbook replete with recipes and advice for cooking and eating while dating, fending off a landlord, gathering with friends, etc. The "girl's guide to liquor" is particularly enlightening, as are multiple chapters on conducting an affair.
Rubbing to jacket extremities and chipping to jack spine ends; short closed tear to lower front jacket panel, otherwise very good and bright. Scarce in first edition.
