Cuban cuisine has a rich cultural heritage, mainly Spanish, African, Chinese and French. Dishes such as roast suckling pig, ropa vieja or moros y cristianas have made it popular throughout the world. This book brings together the main recipes of Cuban cuisine seen not only from the family tradition on the island, but also from exile. Added to this is the peculiarity of being the first fully illustrated book on Cuban cuisine to be published in Spain. Within its exquisite repertoire, this recipe book has 100 delicious and exotic dishes that include tamales, fufú, the Cuban sandwich, okra, guava pastries or the world-famous mojito. It is, from any point of view, an essential book for lovers of cooking in general and of Cuba in particular.

Behind this book is Verónica Cervera and her blog La cocina de Vero. Cuban resident in Miami, Veronica is passionate about cooking and has published her recipes on the Baby Center blog in Spanish, in Qué rica vida magazine, in the newspaper El Nuevo Herald, on the Travel Curious Often website, Telemundo 51 and El Velero de Yaiza. She has prepared recipes for campaigns for the brands Kikkoman, Avocados de México, Cacique and Maseca. In 2013 she was selected as LATISM's Top Blogger and was a finalist in the Best Food Blog category.

In Vero's Cuban Kitchen you will find recipes from the following guests: Miguel Angel Almodóvar, Paquito D'Rivera, Abilio Estevez, Orlando Jimenez Leal, Carlos Alberto Montaner, Boris Larramendi, Tony Oliva, Zoe Plasencia, Gilda Santana, Rosario Suárez "Charín" and Eugenio Tuya. Very good condition.
