(*NEW ARRIVAL*) (French - Professional) Yannick Alléno. Terroir Parisien. *Signed*
2 vols. in slipcase. Signed by Alleno on the slipcase. Originally from the Parisian suburbs, Yannick Alléno earned his stripes in several Parisian establishments before taking over the kitchens of the famous Le Meurice palace in 2003. He earned his second Michelin star in 2004, before earning a third in 2007. Passionate about Paris and its cuisine, he set out to research its origins and bring it up to date, notably through a Parisian "Menu Terroir" served at lunch at Le Meurice.
A tribute to the Île-de-France region and those who showcase it. But it's also a truly personal approach for this chef, who seeks, through his work, to preserve our taste buds and encourage local producers. Today, farmers, watercress growers, market gardeners, livestock breeders, and beekeepers join forces with Yannick Alléno to revive the ancient traditions of one of France's richest agricultural regions.
