(*NEW ARRIVAL*) (Korean) Grateful Offerings: Korean Mountain Temple Offerings (Kyungae Lee)
Illus. from photographs by Jikwon Ha. Pictorial tan wrappers. First Edition. Seoul: Assoc. of Korean Buddhist Orders, 2016.
This book is a collection of books on Korean Buddhism culture every year including Korean Buddhism (2010), Myths and Legends of Buddhist Temples in Korea (2014) It is the work of the Korean Buddhist end-of-life council which was translated in 2015. It includes not only the beautiful story of temple food, but also the diverse scenery of the Korean temple and the representative food recipes of the temple. It is not a simple temple food recipe.
In particular, 130 photographers who are actively engaged in the work of Buddhism in Korea. Jinsuk Lim Tedesco, who is in charge of translation, and Frank M. Tedesco, who is in charge of English supervision, understand Korean Buddhism. As they translated the project, they have expressed their interest and affection for Buddhist food.
Minor rubbing to extremities, else very good.
