Warm birthday inscription inscribed by Alice Waters, her daughter Fanny, and Alice's partner/Fanny's father Stephen Singer (all in Alice's hand) on the front cover. The inscribee, John Hudspeth, was a close friend of the entire Chez Panisse family, and occasionally cooker there as well as provided organic produce to the restaurant. Mild irregular darkening to front cover, otherwise very good.
