(Crate Label) Up n' Atom Brand California Carrots.

$25.00

8.25x7". Watsonville: c.1940's.

Before WWII, crate labels for fruits and vegetables were common, but after the war, companies switched over to using cardboard boxes with printed labels. Thus, there was a plethora of unused crate labels that came onto the market, and they have slowly dissipated over the years. This one is quite charming, of a boxing rabbit defending his carrot patch. Fine.
