Christina Wood Author Event • Pastry Temple
A note about our in-store events:
We offer first come, first served seating in our shop. There will be overflow room outside if needed and the author will be mic'd. Everyone is welcome to attend.
You can pre-order a copy below for pick-up at the event or purchase copies on-site.
Christina Wood- is the founder, owner, and head chef of Temple Pastries in Seattle. She learned to bake in her home kitchen after graduating from University of Florida with a degree in business management. Professionally, she worked under Coupe du Monde de la Boulangerie winner William Leaman and James Beard-nominated baker James Miller before starting Temple Pastries as a croissant pop-up in 2018. Temple Pastries opened its doors as a brick-and-mortar shop in 2020.
Becky Duffett- is an award-winning food writer living and eating in San Francisco. Her work has appeared in Food & Wine, Bon Appétit, The New York Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, and Eater SF. She served as the deputy editor at Eater SF, reporting breaking news during the pandemic, while running the largest dining website in the Bay Area. She’s also a former cookbook editor and classically trained cook, graduating from the professional program at San Francisco Cooking School, with restaurant experience at Petit Crenn and Kantine.
